Lamberto Bava's Directorial Debut, and a good one it was...

I rewatched this the other day...I have had it on DVD for a few years now, but never got around to it...I saw it years ago prior...

Anyway, a woman is having an affair. Her daughter is torqued because she is left home alone to take care of her little brother...Daughter snoops around and gets a hold of her mother at her secret hotel room...Mom blows her off...Something bad happens to little brother...Mom races home with her lover...they get into an accident and he is killed...

A year later, she is released from the mental hospital...she returns to her hotel room...the blind caretaker tries to put moves on her, but she ain't having it...she has a lover...

Not real gory and slow paced at times this is not a bad film by any means...the daughter is a real little bitch who is quite manipulative...A couple of shocking scenes and a few gross out moments...

Nekromantik borrowed from this in a lot of ways...That should give you a hint on the subject matter...

This is another one that's been sitting on my shelf, unwatched. I think mainly due to the fact that most people have told me that this is L. Bava's worst flick ever. I tried to watch it before, but I ended up spilling beer all over the case and bummed myself out. You make it sound pretty decent though, I'm going to have to drag it out and watch it.

Yeah bro, check it out...Believe me, it is not one of his worst by any means...it is one of his best really...

The pacing can be a bit slow, but that happens in a lot of Italian films...

Love it i got it with "A Blade In The Dark" double feature and i much prefer this one. The subject is a bit shocking like Tom already stated but it actually fits in the story as a whole. Solid film and from all the L Bava films i have seen this is my favorite

One moment I like (I don't want to give anything away but oh well!!) is the part near the end when Andy discovers the ear lobe in his soup. HAHA!!!!
