True while not a actuall sequal to the Jamie Lee classic Hello Mary Lou Prom Night 2 has some decent moments. Its more of a slasher/ghost story than pure slasher. Prom Queen Mary Lou Malloney was burned to death in a horrible prank played by her so called date in the 50's. Now 30 years later the new prom queen is not quite herself, could this be a return of Mary Lou. Again nothing ground breaking but the moment Mary Lou comes out of Vickie at the end was some nice makeup and a sort of Carrie moment to it. I actually enjoy this one
